The goal of ZPE devices is to tap the infinite energy field of the quantum vacuum in a manner analogous to opening a faucet on your sink to get water.
The underlying principle of tapping zero-point energy is to perturb the quantum field in a purposeful, controlled way that causes either a usable energy force or particle to manifest/materialize so that it can be harvested or to slow down or eliminate the annihilation of randomly materializing particles or forces long enough so that they can be harvested. The perturbing force could be in the form of very fast, high magnitude electrical and/or magnetic pulses ("spikes"), scalar waves, light, etc. in a contained environment. Often combinations of different forms of energetic fields are used for containment and stimulation.
